Hi, I'm Megan!

I’m a certified executive coach and an award-winning leader in the energy sector, with over 15 years of experience in regulatory strategy, policy advocacy, and influencing high-stakes decisions—often as one of the few women in the room.

As I advanced in my career, I faced the same challenges many women experience—juggling competing priorities, managing team dynamics, and navigating the constant push-and-pull between leadership expectations and the realities of the real-world.

I’ve walked that tightrope that many of us women leaders find ourselves balancing on:

I quickly realized that getting a seat at the table wasn’t enough. I needed the right tools, strategies, and support to lead effectively without overworking, over-explaining, or overthinking.

But the leadership training and mentorship programs available to me?

They weren’t cutting it.

The advice was vague—”delegate more,” “empower your team”—but it didn’t address the reality of leading in complex, high-pressure environments.

It wasn’t until I hit the brink of burnout—lying awake at night replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, and feeling drained at the end of every day—that I knew something had to change.

Everything shifted when I was introduced to evidence-based tools for confidence, resilience, and influence. When I combined these strategies with executive coaching and high-level support, I stopped holding back and started stepping into my full leadership potential

Our Values at WATT

At Women Advancing and Thriving Together (WATT), our foundation is built on values that I hold personally—values that shape how we lead, connect, and support each other.

Growth: Leadership is a journey, not a destination

I believe in continuous growth—not just climbing the ladder, but becoming stronger, more confident, and more impactful along the way. WATT is designed to provide the tools, insights, and challenges that help you develop as a leader while staying aligned with your personal and professional goals.

Authenticity: You don’t have to lead like anyone else to be successful.

Your leadership is strongest when it’s rooted in who you truly are. I value real authenticity, and WATT is a space where you can refine your leadership style without pressure to conform. Here, you’ll gain the confidence to step into your power and lead in a way that feels right for you.

Connection: Leadership shouldn’t be lonely.

Having a strong, supportive network changes everything. WATT isn’t just about learning leadership skills—it’s about building meaningful relationships with other women who understand your challenges, celebrate your wins, and challenge you to grow. This isn’t just networking—it’s a community that lifts you up.

Strategic Action: Confidence comes from clarity and execution.

I believe leadership isn’t just about vision—it’s about action. WATT gives you real, evidence-based strategies to make bold decisions, influence effectively, and navigate leadership challenges with clarity. You won’t just talk about being a great leader—you’ll have the tools to act on it.

Sustainable Success: You don’t have to sacrifice what matters.

Success shouldn’t come at the cost of your well-being, values, or priorities. WATT is built to help you lead powerfully without burnout, giving you strategies to grow your career in a way that supports—not drains—you.

These are the values I bring to everything we do inside WATT. They are what drive me, and they are what will help you not just get your seat at the table, but to thrive there.

The Shift That Changed Everything

What I didn’t realize then?

It wasn’t that I wasn’t a good leader. It wasn’t that my team was impossible to work with (though it certainly felt like that some days!).

It was that I didn’t have the right tools or support to navigate these kinds of challenges.

Because leadership isn’t just about vision—it’s about execution.

It’s about having the right strategies to lead through resistance, build engagement, and drive real impact.

Once I equipped myself with the right tools and the right support (the same tools and support you’re getting inside WATT), everything changed.

I went from second-guessing myself to speaking up with confidence—even in the toughest conversations. Instead of being thrown off by unexpected challenges, I learned to expect them and respond with intention.

I stopped getting caught in the weeds and started leading strategically—driving real, positive change in a way that felt authentic and aligned.

But the biggest shift?

I got my time and energy back.

Instead of spending all my time managing resistance, overthinking decisions, or putting out fires, I had the tools and support to lead through challenges confidently.

And that meant I was not just a more effective leader—but a more present and fulfilled person.

I got my time and energy back.
